BOURNE Beats CATWOMAN At Box Office!

Matt Damon's Bourne Supremacy kicked box office butt this weekend, earning $53 million over its debut weekend.  I, Robot slipped to a distant second and Catwoman managed a limp third.  Click over for more numbers.

It's a clash of the future in-laws, just when we thought it couldn't get any more frustratingly uncomfortable.  Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Teri Polo, and Blythe Danner return in this sequel to the 2000 comedy "Meet the Parents," in which Ben Stiller's character, Gaylord Focker (of course), abandoned rational behavior in favor of pulling a Jack Tripper for nearly two hours while De Niro's Jack Byrnes made him regret every pratfall.

Brett Rattner aboard for MI 3!!!

Last week we reported that Joe Carnahan was no longer the director for "Mission: Impossible 3."  The film has a new man behind the camera, according to Ain't it Cool News.  Brett Rattner ("Red Dragon," "Rush Hour") has signed to direct the sequel that may be worse than "Mission: Impossible 2," an accomplishment which seems almost impossible itself.

STAR WARS: EPIDSODE III Gets Another Subtitle!!!

Yeehaw!  Many of you probably saw the news that Lucasfilm announced the title to the third "Star Wars" prequel at the San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend.  "Revenge of the Sith" will hit theaters in May of 2005.
