"Warriors of Heaven and Earth," the new Sony Classics film, tells the story of Lieutenant Li (Jiang Wen) and Japanese emissary Lai Xi (Nakai Kiichi) who are involved in a cat and mouse struggle that pits the two master swordsman against one another.

The film is directed by He Ping ("Tian di ying xiong") and opens August 27 in New York and Los Angeles.

I think that this trailer would have been so much better with something else going on other then that tacky Hollywood voice-over dude doin' his "Good guys fight to defend honor and save girl from evil, excessively powerul and mostly undefeatable bad guy." thing... or maybe I'm just bitchin' because it's 105 degrees up here and it's too hot to go outside or masturbate leaving me no option but to post complaints about foreign film's on DT.

That said, I think Warriors of Heaven and Earth looks alright.
