Oh sure, it's a dorky kids' movie, but I found myself smiling at the trailer instead of rolling my eyes at it, which is what I usually do. It made me nostalgic for the days when I actually liked movies like this. It just seems to have a certain charm. However, I'm not too crazy about the whole 3-D approach.
That being said, this looks like a fun little kids' flick. Will I rush out to see it? Most likely not, but this is one of the first films of this type in a long time that I might not completely avoid either.

I work with kids so I get to see a lot of movies like this. This movie was probably in the top 5 stupidest movies I have ever seen in my life. It is even worse than Thunderbirds. The plot had holes in it, (more like half of it was missing) the movie was too long, the acting and scripting were terrable. Overall a bad movie. I do like a lot of kids movies, I think a lot of them are really clever and entertaining but I found myself wanting to get up and walk out of this one.
