Quote of the day:
"There is a large element of me in every role I do. Actors who say they can dive inside a character are either schizophrenic or lying." -- Bruce Campbell |

Digital Hollywood In Cleveland
By Azad on April 4, 2000 10:12 AM
Alexcine wrote to us: Taking a cue from the Hollywood Studio System, Prelude Productions, Inc. has created a Digital Movie Division which intends to turn out a steady stream of movies. A few months ago, the company launched its website
http://www.prelude2cinema.com
The first two digital movies, "Blood Kiss", a subtle vampire movie
starring Nina Angeloff, and a Twilight Zone tale "Little Girl"
starring Annie Sherman and Tiffany Highland (as the same character) are
expected to be released this Summer.
Prelude is also holding a Screenwriting Contest that gives $200 (US) as the
prize and the winning script will be produced as a Digital Movie.
Prelude's Chief Operating Officer and Director of both movies, Alex P. Michaels, got the idea for the Screenwriting contest because he won a similar
contest sponsored by Proctor and Gamble. His play "What Angels Fear" was
produced as a TV Movie starring Adam Lazzare-White ("The Young & the Restless"
and "The Temptations" mini-series) and Greg Lauren ("Boogie Nights" and "A Time
to Kill"). "What Angels Fear" went on to win a National American Scene Award.
Visitors to Prelude2cinema should sign up for free Monthly Newsletter. The Site
at http://www.prelude2cinema.com also includes Trailers and Production Journals
from "Blood Kiss," "Little Girl," and info on the Prelude2cinema
Screenwriting Contest.
