Eat These Short Clips
By Wind(up)bird on July 10, 2003 1:42 PM
If these (well, at least the first one) don't excite you on some small level(either for the beauty of the virtual women or the beauty of the seamlessly cool animation) than you might need celebrex or lipitor or some other kind of highly advertised legal drug for folks with problems they think commercials can solve. Bizarre Love Triangle is an odd and great net find. Two animated shorts, or test clips rather from Synthetique, a french animation company. Damn cool, damn impressive Could this be samples of a coming film? Could somebody please give this company a few bucks some to make that happen? I don't know. Someone should find out.
These shorts remind me of the awesome artwork bleed into Shinichiro Watanabe's (Kid's Story, Detective Story) Animatrix shorts. The time for seriously-minded, complex, nicely budgeted computer-cell-hybrid animated films has almost arrived. Link Bizarre Love Triangle and spread it around and maybe this company will get a shot and making us all get too turned on by the lightly-dressed, underfed, gyrating 1's and 0's.
