That's awesome. For some reason I always thought Herzog would be dead by now. I guess it was just Kinski.
While his sanity may be in question, he's an amazing director. See Auch Zwerge haben klein angefangen (Even Dwarfs Started Small) if you don't believe me.

i recently saw his latest film, INVINCIBLE with tim roth. it was awesome. i can recommend that one, too!

Then you guys should check "My Best Friend", a documentary from 1999 where Herzog explains and explore his relationship with Kinski.
