Topic: Film A New Two Towers Trailer
By A random shemp on April 9, 2002 11:31 AM

It's not amazing quality and it still looks like it could have been made by cutting scenes from the last movie but take a look.

It looks like crap but all of the scenes are obviously from the next book...

Helms Deep...
Legolas/Aragorna and Gimli's pursuit of the orcs that abducted Pippin and Merry and the return of Gandalf...

...all plot points from The Two Towers.

If you loved the first movie, wear a diaper to this one it is going to be incredible.

Anyone who has read the book, and then see's the trailer, knows that it's not a fake.  It also has been released in the news that a "choppy quality" trailer of "The Two Towers" has been circulated.  If you got the one that flashes around, then you got that one.  Anyone who gets a clear "DVD Rip" quality trailer, let EVERYONE KNOW!!!

Authentic Two Towers Trailer...   > reply

There can be no question that this trailer of the Two Towers is authentic material. The quality is poor but the imprint of the Tolkien masterpiece book is all over this trailer. The story becomes astounding in the 2nd movie......

 ITS REAL!   > reply

I personally think its real, however, the scenes could be from storylines linked to the T-T originally cut from the Fellowship. In my view, some material must be real because if it wasnt in the first of the trilogy, its bound to be in the second.

It appears to be a bootleg copy of the trailer. You can see what looks lilke an edge of a screen running along the bottom and left hand sides; the audio isn't in true stereo; and the screen flickers, indicating that this was taped while siiting in a theater (the same effect that you would get if you videotaped a computer screen - you would see it refreshing itself, though typcially we don't it naturally because it is too quick for our eyes to pick up!)

the fellowship of the ring = cool.

two towers = even cooler.

the return of the king = the coolest

(Each book tops the next! Look forward to the last two!)

By the way... why are you not certain if the clip is the real two towers trailer? It's being sent on the movies now (I saw fellowship of the rings for the fourth time now, and the trailer was sent just after the end).

Even though Arwen isnt really a big character in the LORD OF THE RINGS, I feel that they should have included her more than they did because Liv Taylor is hot!
