 David Duchovny Paints With His Bottom

(SB) David Duchovny's been painting for charity - with his butt. The handsome actor and his actress wife Tea Leoni admit they get very involved in their artwork, and use the star's backside to raise money for good causes. Leoni says, "David and I recently did some butt painting for a charity auction. I call myself the paint loader. I apply different colours to his cheeks and then he sits on the canvas. I reload and he repeats. Sometimes I get to spank him a little to blend the colours. I defy anyone to say that David and I don't know how to have fun." Leoni is proud to reveal that one of Duchovny's paintings sold for $3,500 at a Los Angeles auction for animal rights.

It's amusing but also a little nauseating, the way Ms. Tea Leoni ( her real name is Beth I believe) calculatingly exploits her marriage to David Duchovny to keep herlself in the public eye. Yep, marrying that cash cow was the smartest move that little gal ever made. But I think it's starting to get a little tired when she needs to wave her husband's ass in front of the public in order to get attention for herself.

It may have been David's idea but why didn't he make the statements about it? His wife is making the statements, cashing in on another opportunity to promote herself via her more famous & talented spouse. People are interested in hearing about David Duchovny. Nobody gives a rat's ass about Tea Leoni.

I gotta agree with the anonymous poster's earlier comments about Ms. Leoni. David Duchovny is a pathetic poop for marrying an individual who would so crassly capitalize on her husband's fame. IMO she's the one who deserves the spanking! And her walking papers! How manipulative can you get? Next she'll put a ring through his nose and parade him around like an accessory. You just can't respect a guy who lets his wife use him like this in order to get publicity for herself. Wonder how the daughter will fare in such an environment?

What?!? He's doing it for charity. Just like promoting his movies, she's giving him support by making it known to the world that these actually exist...promotion. Fine she went a little over the top by saying she spanked him (he spoke exhaustively about it on the Tonight show...promotion...not exploitation). Goodness, you seem so passionate about it.

I hear disillusionment in these comments, not jealousy. And the fans are seeing an unhappy truth here. David used to be a friendly guy. He still is, but only to his male friends. Because Tea is a jealous harpy, watches him like a hawk all the time, permitting him no breathing space, David is now so nervous around females that he can't even enjoy a civilized arms'-length conversation with one without nervously talking about how his wife wouldn't like it. It's disappointing to see a man who used to be an unpretentious, open, decent guy deteriorate into an anxious cuckold. I naturally freely allow him his choices. People learn from mistakes, & everyone who cares for David is confident that he's smart enough to learn from this one, sooner or later. However, one simply can't respect someone who gives up so much of his basic personality to be with someone so controlling.

One expects David Duchovny & Tea Leoni to act like a couple of spoiled narcissistic clowns - after all, we are talking about a classically vapid & shallow Hollywood couple here - but you really gotta wonder about the bozo who would actually be stupid enough to buy something that borders on being, literally, sh*tE. I also think it's a mistake to blame Ms. Leoni solely for this kind of stupidity - does anybody remember David's infamous "teacup" photos? Doesn't he learn from experience? Or is this all just a case of egos raging out of control as the result of too much public adulation? David, when you go for marriage #2, try to pick a wife who's capable of providing you with a reality check!

Does anybody else find this story a little degrading to David as well as insulting to his fans? I'm sure that the people who bought the butt painting don't think so but I do. I like David. He's a talented guy and I think he has a lot more to offer than his posterior even if it is for charity. I'd much rather have the tile painting he did a few months ago for charity. That painting was beautiful. And what's with Leoni and all her sex and ass comments? She talks about sex and reduces David to a sex object in practically every interview. Either she loves to brag or this is all a load of bull and she's an insecure bimbo. I tend to think it's the latter.

I couldn't agree more. It saddens me. When Davd speaks of his wife in public, he speaks as a gentleman. When Tea speaks of David, she is exploitative. She talks like he is a piece of meat in her possession. I have been aware of Leoni's smarmy attitude towards her husband for a while, but I feel truly sorry for David - and for his daughter - when I hear statements like these from Ms. "Tea" (AKA Beth) Leoni. She presents herself as a truly unsavory individual. Imagine what sort of mother she must be, when you see what an unscrupulous wife she is. I would be happy if her mouth was glued shut and we never heard another obnoxious peep out of her.

I was at a party where I saw David walk up to a woman sitting on the sofa, politely extend his hand & introduce himself. Tea Leoni literally came running up to David, raised her leg and physically wrapped herself around him, and declared to the woman in a defensive tone, "MINE!" David's face blushed in mute embarassment and everyone else watching this sordid display of literal ownership was also speechless. That woman is giving David the ride of his life.

I've disliked Leoni intensely ever since I heard her say that having a baby ruined her career. I thought, "What sort of b*tch would say that to the public? What kind of emotional problems is she setting that kid up for?" And I've seen through every public remark the woman has made since then.

Well, I wouldn't say that she's a bad mother since we don't know. She seems to love her child if you look at various pics of them both, but then again, what normal mother doesn't? And I'm sure the fact that she has the help of 3 nannies, doesn't hurt either.
It's her attitude and foul mouth that turns me and a lot of other people off. Granted DD did tell the story first on national television, but he didn't make it sound sleazy or degrading. It was just an amusing anecdote which provided a few laughs while he promoted his movie. That Leoni feels the need to repeat this story now in three different papers tells me that she doesn't have anything of worth or enlightening to say and that she's very shallow and crass. Spanking indeed! Notice she hardly talks about her movie. Most of her interviews focus on her weight gain or loss, or how hard she has to work balancing motherhood and a career (epecially when she has no talent to speak of). All a person has to do is look at all the "challenging" roles she takes on. Every interview is literally a sell job complete with her predictable sex interviews. Shallow, crass, and riding on David's coattails. Wow, none of us saw that one coming (snort), huh?

And anyone who doubts she's a gold-digging slut, just remember that a few years before she married David she broke up the marriage of her producer on "The Naked Truth." She just married david to help her career!

Interesting, how Duchovny's career has been going steadily downhill since his marriage to tea Leoni. Right when it was looking so promising, too. It's not too late to turn it around yet either. But he needs to teach his guttersnipe of a wife to shut her big mouth. It's obvious she holds his fans in contempt. It's clear that she feels threatened by his fans. Maybe, since he permits her to speak in this manner, he too holds us in contempt. We're idiots to support an individual like this. Is that the real message here, David? Betcha didn't know what a nasty little queen bee you'd got yourself when you married her! There's nothing wrong with the butt painting thing. It's a little risque, & to me personally rather amusing. They're both adults. And as adults in the public eye they should be more responsible. This isnt very smart of Tea, to speak publicly of her husband & the father of her child in this manner. There's no reason why she had to use this situation to promote herself, she has a movie to promote doesn't she? It shows that she either has no concept of decorum whatsoever, or possibly she makes little statements like these about David as a way of controlling him & undermining what little dignity he may have. It can't be a happy or psychically healthy marriage if she feels compelled to make statements of this nature. From the comments I've just finished reading on this page, most of the public seems to be able to see through her act.

David Duchovny has gone on record requesting that his fans respect his marriage. It's not easy to respect his marriage when his own wife shows no respect for him, nor does she show respect for his fans. It's David's fans that have made it possible for him to earn such a good living - a much better living than 99% of those fans - enabling her to afford all that cosmetic surgery, Hollywood fad diets, expensive clothes etc. And yes of course, the 3 nannies! Hope David's ass is covered but good in one department - the pre-nuptial agreement. Or she'll continue to bleed him dry even when he tries to wash his hands of her.

And I thought MY earlier comments were intense! Whoa!! Ultimately I can only base my objection on the subjective view, & I'd kick my guy's butt black & blue if he spoke publicly of me in this manner. There are ways of saying things so they don't have to sound lurid & trashy. Apparently his wife has yet to acquire this skill. She has a way of making David sound cheap & sleazy. She knows him, not me, so who knows, maybe he actually IS cheap & sleazy. In which case I'd rather stick to hearing about his acting, thanks.

Okay, if everything I read was true, I have even more reasons to hate her guts. I don�t know what it is, but I�ve never liked her. I�m not the type that keeps a close eye on famous people, so reading that was shocking!
About the Picture, I have a copy of one. I got it of some website and I�m pretty sure it�s his. (The article was on him at least)

Checking in on this page a final time. Really illuminating comments, I see David in quite a different light as the result of Tea's words & the subsequent opinions voiced here. Since his wife speaks offensively of him, I can only avoid her remarks in future, which will be a pleasure. Guess that's all any fan can do: ignore her. David, you are in my prayers, as is your daughter Maddie. Hope things work out for you.
