Quote of the day:

"There is a large element of me in every role I do. Actors who say they can dive inside a character are either schizophrenic or lying." -- Bruce Campbell

Topic: Film Daniels a.k.a. C-3PO Reveals Episode II Bits
By Azad on March 14, 2001 9:35 AM

Anthony Daniels, best knowned as C-3PO in all the Star Wars films, told Great Britain's The Big Breakfast show in an interview, that filmmakers will begin shooting pickup scenes for Star Wars: Episode II in that country, according to a report on the Dark Horizons Web site. To avoid curious onlookers and movie set stalkers, the location is obviously being kept secret. And it won't be at either the Elstree or Leavesden Studios.

Daniels also revealed that his character will appear in its classic gold plating. The film's Australian crew gave Daniels a 12-inch model of his new metal plates costume. And Daniels also reportedly said that Episode II marked the first Star Wars production in which the R2-D2 droid operated trouble-free.

Any idiot could tell you that if you want a successful working R2 Droid, don't put a sweaty midget inside.  Duh?

Anyone want to talk about Battlestar Galactica?  Now THERE was a Science Fiction Video.  Ben Cartwright and Rayguns, but no cute robots that I recall.

Ben Cartwright wore a real fruity cape, if I recall.  Kind of a half space cowboy and half vampire sort of look.
