Quote of the day:

"There is a large element of me in every role I do. Actors who say they can dive inside a character are either schizophrenic or lying." -- Bruce Campbell

Topic: Film The Mummy Takes On Potter
By Acheron on March 2, 2001 6:30 AM

(Empire) A day after the release of the trailers for the upcoming movies, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Planet of the Apes, Universal Studios, not wanting to be outdone, gives us the new The Mummy Returns full trailer.  The teaser trailer was released a few months ago.

The trailer showcases the film’s phenomenal CGI to great effect, this sequel looks set to surpass even its predecessor’s impressive visual flair. The trailer features legions of the undead, mummies terrorizing London streets, hordes of warriors commanded by rippling WWF superstar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and, of course, Brendan Fraser gallantly rescuing the ever-imperilled Rachel Weisz.

The trailer is sure to impress, and quite possibly surpass the download numbers of Harry Potter from yesterday.  I wouldn't understand why, though.  You can check it out at the official site.
