Angelina Jolie, who will play the role of Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider movie, told reporters that she was awed by Cambodia's Angkor Wat temples, where the film recently shot, based on a report from Reuters. "I feel very blessed and very lucky to be able to be part of this film, part of this whole experience," Jolie told a news conference in the Cambodian town of Siem Reap.
Jolie also added, "This has changed my life, being here in this country. ... It makes me feel differently about everything--about my life, about work, about what we can all do. ... It's the most amazing place I've ever been to in my life."
The Tomb Raider crew just wrapped up a week of filming in Cambodia on Nov. 27. The movie will complete filming by the end of the year, and it is slated for a June 15, 2001, release.
