Quote of the day:

"There is a large element of me in every role I do. Actors who say they can dive inside a character are either schizophrenic or lying." -- Bruce Campbell

Topic: Film Zeta-Jones and Spacey in the next Bond?
By Azad on November 29, 2000 9:44 PM

Rumors that Catherine Zeta-Jones will play the latest Bond girl in the upcoming 20th James Bond film Beyond the Ice, have been floating around for awhile and reported on the Dark Horizons Web site.

And as rumors go, it was cited from a report in the British tabloid newspaper The Mirror. It says that Zeta-Jones will play a female partner of Pierce Brosnan's superspy. And if that were true, its thumbs up for hotties.

Also, Kevin Spacey will reportedly play the chief villain in the movie, and it will also be Brosnan's last turn as 007. The new Bond film will shoot in Alaska, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Washington, D.C., and is aimed at a 2002 release.

Thank god get rid of Pierce... CZJ won't be that great and the film could never do justice to the one and only Kevin Spacey.

Why stop at Brosnan? Let's kill the whole Bond series! Just like I'm not 15 anymore. Bond is just not cool anymore.

Hey whats all this trash talk about James Bond? No one goes to see the movies with the expectations of a cinematic coup de grace. We go to see cool gadgets, sexy women, and expensive automobiles getting wrecked. There is nothing at all wrong with a couple of explosions and improbable toys, especiailly when considering the degree of very heavy and serious movies coming out today. I say we all take a vacation from the over serious and indulge in a little healthy fantasy.

Who'says Bond isn't cool anymore, he's the man. Whoever wrote that must have it in for the good looking guy who gets all the action and girls too.

James Bond can and never will be replaced. Those of 'yall who are glad to see it go just cannot appreciate the Bond series and what its done for cinema. Bond takes you where people seldom venture. Imagination!

I can imagine where Bond can't go. And that's to the grammys. Bond will never bust the $30 million box office gross unless we put a well known person in the role. Say Patrick Ewing..

Hello... The Grammy Awards are for songs and music not for movies. And the James Bond movies have already busted that amount.
