"There is a large element of me in every role I do. Actors who say they can dive inside a character are either schizophrenic or lying." -- Bruce Campbell

Topic: Film Jar Jar Mock Documentary Sold
By Azad on October 14, 2000 11:56 PM

About a week ago, my buddy Antialias got really bored and found quite an amusing mock documentary on iFilm.com about Star Wars Episode 1's most hated character, Jar Jar Binks. It was about 10 minutes of serious silliness, quite amusing.

The mock documentary was titled Jar Jar Binks: The E! True Hollywood Story and it was of course styled to the popular E! biography stories. However, the parody film was pulled from iFilm.com on Oct. 11, after complaints from executives at the real E! network.

To save the day, Neurotrash.com has bought the Web broadcast rights to the mock documentary. Neurotrash posted Jar Jar on Oct. 13 (yes its Friday the 13th, woo). And during Jar Jar's stay on iFilm, the parody documentary was downloaded more than 71,000 times. I suppose the fun of seeing Jar Jar suffering never ends.

I think the short was fantastic and that the morons at E! need to get a sense of humor!
