Topic: Film Memories of Survivor Just Won't Fade
By Acheron on September 29, 2000 3:02 PM

(Yahoo) University of Miami student and Survivorette, Colleen Haskell, has a big screen gig in the works with Deuce Bigalow star Rob Schneider which is set to be released late June of 2001. Haskell previously turned down an opprotunity to pose for Playboy, and is the first of the Survivor cast to go to the silver screen.

The movie is titled Animal, and will be directed by newcomer Luke Greenfield. The film is about a man(Rob Schneider) who receives organ transplants from a multitude of animals and slowly finds himself taking on various beastly traits. Haskell will play his love intrest. Sounds like a real winner..

Apparently, the casting director, Roger Mussenden, thought that Colleen would be great for the role. I guess this just reinforces the fact that anyone thrown into the spotlight can make it big, regardless of talent. Shooting starts this October.
