SUPERMAN RETURNS Shot On Digital Hybrid Cameras!

Next summer's Superman Returns is being shot on a new kinf of camera, the result of a three year design project between Panavision and Sony. The Panavision Genesis cameras shoot on high end, high definition video but utilize the same Panavision lenses that have always been used with 35mm film cameras. The last 3 Stars Wars prequels were shot on digital using a Sony camera design for Lucas by Sony.

In the spirit of fun comes "Fun With Dick and Jane;" a remake of the 1977 comedy about a nice, suburban married couple, Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni, with a nutty hilarious Hollywood blockbuster concept secret, they're thieves! With the smell of Mr. and Mrs. Smith still fresh, this trailer falls flat.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 3 Fills Out Its New Cast

Last year, before Cruise Control pulled the plug because his director (Narc dir. Joe Carnahan) walked out on him, MI-3 had a much different cast. Scarlett Johannson, Kenneth Branagh, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Ving Rhames. Now JJ Abrams (Lost, Alias creator) is in the co-pilot seat (we all know Cruise controls all) and the cast has changed.

FAMILY GUY Movie On DVD This September!

It's called "Stewie: The Untold Story, and it'll be out on DVD on September 27th. The Hollywood Reporter states, "The movie finds Stewie, the maniacal baby genius, having a near-death experience that prompts him to change his ways. Instead of seeking to dominate the world, he sets out on a road trip to find his real father." Giddy up.
