Next summer's Superman Returns is being shot on a new kinf of camera, the result of a three year design project between Panavision and Sony. The Panavision Genesis cameras shoot on high end, high definition video but utilize the same Panavision lenses that have always been used with 35mm film cameras. The last 3 Stars Wars prequels were shot on digital using a Sony camera design for Lucas by Sony.Superman Related Links
