FAMILY GUY Movie On DVD This September!

It's called "Stewie: The Untold Story, and it'll be out on DVD on September 27th. The Hollywood Reporter states, "The movie finds Stewie, the maniacal baby genius, having a near-death experience that prompts him to change his ways. Instead of seeking to dominate the world, he sets out on a road trip to find his real father." Giddy up.

KING KONG Trailer To Debut On 9 Networks At The Same Damn Time!

The media conglomerate NBC Universal (Universal Pictures, NBC, Sci-Fi, USA Networks, Bravo, and others) is going to debut the first teaser for Peter Jackson's remake of KING KONG on all nine of its broadcast venues at the same time, on June 27th. Two days later, the teaser premieres on screen in front of prints of War of the Worlds.

1st Night Of BATMAN BEGINS Pulls in $15 Million!

It's not as impressive as Revenge of the Sith's first day (50 million), but is already out performing its expectations, but Batman Begins brought in $15 million in ticket sales last night. Reviews have been strong and should add to a solid weekend for director Chris Nolan's franchise reinvention. If the film does well, Nolan will come back for Part II so go see it damnit!

If we were 20th Century Fox, we'd be getting pretty nervous about now. With Batman opening well and being loved by the critics, War of the Worlds set to blow up the box office in a week and a half, and lame buzz having been attached to this flick since its first teasers, this thing could drop like a brick of shit on the slumped summer season. Bogus BEWITCHED Review No Surprise!

The Hollywood Reporter's, Michael Rechtshaffen, writes about the new Bewitched remake, "...rather than settling into an agreeably amusing groove, the picture spends most of its 98 minutes flitting around trying various romantic comedy guises on for size at the expense of pacing, which on more than one occasion grinds to a virtual halt."
