DT EXCLUSIVE: New Close-up of Routh As SUPERMAN!?

A man, a fan man, has emailed Dtheatre what he claims to be a new pic of Brandon Routh as Superman from, what looks like, the wardrobe department's collection of costume photos. ?And our man, Torin, has photo-shopped himself in next to the Superguy. ?Moving, isn't it?

I've never seen this pic before, and I can't find it anywhere else on the net. ?The guy on the right (if it is Torin) looks like Mike Dougherty, one of the writers. ?The coloring of the skin is off, but Routh looks rather putrid also. ?All in all, though I think I've warmed up to the costume over time.

Is it me, or does the 'S' on the belt just say, 'LOOK AT MY PACKAGE!' I can deal with the subdued color scheme but should have left the sytle alone.

I thought Routh was okay as Superman until I saw that picture. The hair, the collar, the fabric, the blue, the red, the belt, the tights, the physique - everything is totally wrong. If Routh looks like that in the movie, I'm more convinced than ever that Christopher Reeve is the one and only Superman!

I've seen diferent angles of the suit thus far but this pic is heads on okay I'm still abit annoyed with the "S" on the buckle but it looks okay. Now we need is a full pic with Brandon doing a super feat to establish the suit performance
