Do you Know about History?
The Hundred Years war was fought between the Catholic English and The Catholic French.  It was fought not over who had the better religion or even anything to do with religion but who had the best claim to the French lands.  Particularly around Calais and Anjou. Non Christians weren't involved at all, nor were were random Christian groups it had nothing to do with religion.
Sheessh you guys really can't come up with a good argument can you.
"Most of those wars had something to do with religion or were caused by relgion" blah blah name one and I will tell you why you are wrong.

I still don't know why none have you have mentioned the crusades yet its like the only war which you would actually have a decent argument and even then there are some vital counter aguments.

As for religion having its day well once again you haven't given an actual reason you have simply said politics and religion are both as bad (and good) as each other but religion is childish so we will leave it.  Your argument is incoherent.  None of you have actually any proof or facts just the same commonts endlessly repeating each other.

The argument is simple Religion initself is not evil as shown by religions which are aimed at the wellbeing of society.  However religion along with any other ideology can most definitly be used for evil.  This is a case for striving to uphold the original tenants of a religion or philosephy not for banning religion.
Democracy has its faults and has been applied badly in the past but we strive to make it better.  I don't see the difference.
