RETAS!Pro has been used in the creation of animated features in everything from Batman the animated series to the Animaniacs, as well as full feature movies like An American Tail and Princess Mononoke. Now Trimedia is releasing an addition to the program which allows animators to draw digitally rather than scanning hand drawn frames.

RETAS!Pro offers many cool effects for 2d animation as well as some 3d effects. For anyone who is into anime or any type of animation, this is a really cool program. The only unfortunate thing is the price: $5,300. A bit much if your a hobbyist. You can download a demo here
