Gore Galore and 'The Patriot'?

| Producer Dean Devlin has expressed concern that violent scenes in The Patriot, expecially those featuring the 13- and 12-year-old boys who play Mel Gibson's sons, may result in the MPAA meting out an R rating to the film. Nevertheless, Devlin told USA Today, director Roland Emmerich has vowed not to cut the scenes. "I don't think anyone's cheering these children shooting their guns. I don't think children seeing it are going to want to shoot guns from looking at it. ... If the only kind of violence our children see is heroic violence, I think that's really dangerous. ...
