 Oh No!!! Broadband AOL Is Here!

(ZDNet)America Online Inc. said on Tuesday it launched AOL Plus, which delivers multimedia content and features to subscribers using AOL 5.0 over any high-speed connection, marking one of its first steps toward the long-awaited introduction of high-speed access on AOL. Downloading the technology will let the interactive services giant's members use AOL Plus' multimedia content and features, which include full-motion video and streaming audio. It will be a sad day when AOL begins offering complete broadband service to the novice users. Hopefully, it'll be a while before that happens though.
