I cant understand why you guys at Dtheater think this movie is going to be so bad. I think you are just reading what other websites are posting and going along with it. But it doesn't look bad, in fact it looks pretty decent I think. Its okay to like a film here and there you know.

This isn't his real job? Does that mean I can stop writing him a pay-check? If you think you can do a better job, send me an email with some example posts and I'll give you his job (or one just like it).
I'm sure Wind(up)bird likes some movies here and there. Like say.. um.. Brokeback Mountain and Deliverance?

Movies aren't allowed to advertise during the oscars (Academy rules, they control the telecast afterall), that's the way it's always been

Dear people. For whatever reason, it seems like Ratner doen't quite know how to shoot fantastical make-up and superheroes costumes without having them stickout from their backgrounds (whereas Rami, Singer, and Nolan have). Case in point, check the close up of Mystique in jail. She looks different. Magneto seems to stick out a little too. There has been quite of bit of hating going on about this flick. I tend to agree with the haters. Hope we're all wrong.
Didn't know about the ban on trailers during the Oscars. Also, I like movies.

Did anybody else notice that they changed the effect of the door flying off its hinges when Jean causes it to, its different from what it was in the teaser. I think it looks much better now and its good to see improvement in the work, I loved it.

I like X-Men as much as anyone but I'm just not that excited about the prospect of yet another movie where some guy blows fire at another guy who bends metal or whatever. Give me something truely fantastic like them having to save the world from giant robots or something and I'm there.

I don't get you guys? I thought the trailer was great and the movie will be fine. The second movie was the best in the series so far and this looks to possible top it in my eyes..but who am I? Maybe its cause I'm not a big enough comic book nerd?

Better trailer. Story is interesting. The mutant that can *cancel* or turn-off the mutant gene -- is that character based off an X-MEN comic book character? It is good to see NOW that the comic to movie transition is getter better & better.

Story wise it's not hard to adapt X-Men storylines to the screen. Ratner I fear, however will sensationalize the whole superhero bit too much as he does with everything. Still, I'll check it out.
