Wow, Anikin Skywalker is really Darth Vader! I never knew that. I always thought that Padme was Darth Vader and killed Anikin. What a twist!

it makes a difference - he's right. Leia was born first. What if Leia died after giving birth to Leia, but while giving birth to Luke? If Luke could say that Dagobah seemed familiar "from a dream", im sure Leia could remember her mother from "memories" or "dreams" b/c of her force connection.

It is quite simple, it was shown in episode 2 that Yoda, at some point, had his hand in training all the Jedi in various Force Techniques. So in keeping with Jedi tradition, Obi-Wan was "The Jedi Master who instructed him." From a certain point of view that is, Obi-Wan always spoke in half truthes, never a lie but never the entire answer.

What are you people blind or what, they are TWINS, it does not matter who was born 1st, both are Force sensitive, like there father before them, Obi-Wan was not informed of Leia's exisitance untill Empire Strike Back, yoda could see the future and new that Luke would be the one to be a threat to the Emperor and Leia's destiney was different from luke's.
Where in the world did some body come up with the idea that Leia had a force connection with Padme, Padme either dies or dies soon after ( Few years) Episode 3, if she dies at the end of Ep. 3, Leia is refering to her adoptive mother, if not then she is refering to Padme, who never got to inform her of Luke before she died. In refrence to Luke saying that Dagobah seemed familiar "from a dream" thats because of Obi-Wan telling luke of it on Hoth, Obi-Wan Appeared to him and Luke thought it was a dream, it was the 1st time Ben appeared to him, so luke thought he was hallucinating, and the fealing of familiararity was luke's connection to the force.

And if your interested, if you have quicktime, go on theforce.net, and try to find an icon that says "the breathing trailer ", and you can see a really cool tv spot that's about a few seconds, but its worth it. Trust me.

Why doesn't Qui-Gon become a ghost when he dies like all the other Jedi? And if C3PO used to work on Owen's homestead in Episode II then why doesn't he recognise it in Episode IV, and why the fuck did Lucas ever think that Jar Jar Binks was a good idea!?

Actually, when the jedi die, they do become ghosts. Now abuot C-3po, sometime in Episode 3 at the end, he gets his memory erased, so that he doesn't tell Luke because, he doesn't tell Luke about Anikan. And, Jar Jar in Episode 1, he made the whole movie kiddiesh, abd Lucas will hardly show Jar Jar in Episode 3.

No disrespect, but I am the official authority on all that is Star Wars. I was watching it in a theatre in 1977 for the 17th time before any of you wannabe's were even born. So, unless George calls you at home in the middle of the night like he does me, shut the fuck up. Now, breath deep and slowly exhale, open your mind, feel the force around you and listen.....All will be revealed if you just shut the hell up, and wait for the movie! George knows full well that Leia has vague memories of her mother while Luke does not. You will learn how, just be patient. Now, how many of you knew that Chewbacca is a female Wookie? And that Lando was her pimp, until he lost her and the falcon to Han in a series of card games? Hmmm...Oh, much to learn do you have.....

by the way, Padme does really died at the end of this movie, If it appears so it is probably to make darth vader believe she is dead. Then when she has the twins Luke is given to given to Ben so he could take him to his Mothers's Brother and for Ben to hide in Tatooine. Also for Ben to Protect Luke if Darth Vader finds where Luke is. Remember Vader does not realize Luke is his son until the empire striked back. Leia Lives a couple years with her mother until she dies and then she gets the adoptive parents. Ben is not told of Leia because Anakin probably knows he is going to have a child not twins and if Vader finds them in Tatooine he cannot reveal the secret. Remember Jedis can read minds. On the spirit thing it seems like the spirits appear when Luke is praying, thinking, or loosing hope. So qui-gon would appear if he is prayed too by Ben.

Man you slearly noo nothing of star wars. C3P0 has his memory erased because he witnessed the births and Yoda wanted no one to have any knowledge of this that might return to the emporer. Leia clearly has memories of her mother becasue padme most likely holds her before her death. And perhaps Obiwan knows nothing of Leias birth was becasue he immediatly escorts luke to tatooiene after his birth (which was first, by the way) annnnd chewbacca is not female (douche) and Lando was not his pimp. lol. And like someone else said obiwan said he was once reckless as a decipal of Yoda becasue Yoda trains young Jedi and then issues them to masters once they are ready to become padawans! Thats explains everything. cheers

man your sooooo stupid. Padme totally dies at the end of this film. Darth Vader has absolutly noo idea that he has children. Ben is not informed for on reason, for if by chance he and Luke are discovered (somehow by fluke) they are unaware of Leias existence. Jeeze, common sense dudes

I Empire Strikes Back Yoda says of Luke "Hmmm. Much anger in him, like his father" To which Obi-Wan replies "Was I any different when you taught me?"
Well, from what I've seen of the prequels, yes he was different, Obi-wan's a real boyscout.

Here's the plot of ROTS:
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far way...
STAR WARS
Blah blah blah, galatic senate, blah blah blah, trade disputed, blah blah blah
Space ships blow up
Anakin: Wah wah! I'm a better Jedi than anyone! Wah wah waaaah!!!
Obi-wan: Don't disobey me young one! Nag nag nag!
They fight, Anakin falls in some lava.
Palpatine: I have saved your life Anakin and in return you must be my gimp.
Anakin/Vader: Yes master.
People fight, more stuff happens. Film ends, people look pissed.

Padme does not die in
Episode III. She gives birth to the twins on the new planet of Polis Masa. Luke is given to Owen and Beru Lars on Tatooine. Leia is given to Senator Bail Organa (Jimmy Smits) and his wife Queen Breha Organa (Rebecca Jackson Mendoza) on Alderaan. Before the movie ends, the twins are seen as at least a month old. Padme goes into hiding. Leia remembers her "real" mother. Padme must have stayed in close vicinity
and/or contact with her friend and senatorial colleague Bail Organa. She probably made visits to the Royal Family, perhaps undercover or in disguise. Also, in the nineteen years between Revenge of the Sith and
A New Hope, Leia, being the adopted daughter of
Senator Bail Organa of
Alderaan, was a senator in the Imperial Senate. She was Princess Leia Organa and also the youngest senator. She grew up in politics and knew Senator Mon Mothma of Chandrilla.

I agree. Luke and Leia are BOTH force sensitive. If you've read the books that continue after 'Jedi', then you know that Leia also starts to learn of the force, and she has three force sensitive children with Han.

THIS IS NOT TRUE:
Though i would thourouly like to believe this it is definatly not true.
I read the book so i know this. Padme dies right after she has the twins no if and or buts.
IF you really want to kill the movie and arn't into reading i suggest you go to supershadow.com or whatever and take a look at the script....YEs ladies and gents the SCRIPT dirrectly from the movie ROTS.
I have read a bunch of spoilers and one thing that came up often was "There are no exteamly obvious contradictions between ROTS and what leia says in ROTJ however those looking for them will always find them."
So lets just all go into the movie expecting a wonderful time and not spaz if someone dies or if there are contradictions. However CRYING your eyes out is allowed :(
HAVE A GREAT TIME @ THE MOVIES.

actually...the truth is that anakin comes along with mace windu and the other jedi masters when they come to arrest palpatine...they already know 100% he's the sith lord. Mace windu tells anakin to stay behind since anakin is not mature enough...so anakin gets pissed because he feels he is strong enough....palpy uses an an unseen lightsaber technique to quickly kill all the jedi masters except windu...palpy and windu go at it....anikin senses the deaths and comes 2 windu's aid..but anakin is basically palpy's bitch and so is seduced by him and anakin attacks windu...windu is still alive and anakin is shocked by wut he has done...while windu is down..but still alive....palpy throws him out the window...yes and this is from the movie script and the comic book they have on the movie at the bookstore..o yea ^_^
