Mr. Popper works as a house painter. One day he receives a penguin in the mail that came all the way from the Arctic side. Sooner than he thought, he comes across another penguin who happens to be a female. He soon realizes he is now living with a growing family of the flightless birds.
Later on he teaches them how to perform for a traveling show
