i don't like the costume.  maybe they should put white lenses over the eyes sorta like spiderman or dardevil

That one with the Scarecrow is obviously fan art.

How can she, since she didnt appear until Batman Returns.

What are you talking about? Batman Begins has absolutely nothing to do with any of the other films... and no, Catwoman is not going to be in this movie.

Actually man Batman Begins is set before the other films. The ending will join on with the original Batman film. With the Joker.

The true question is, where can the films go after Batman Begins.

the pics are AWESOME, and hi-res!  also, Mr. Bale is SO hot, IMHO my ideal male... I hear his wife travels with him on the sets, smart woman.  also, I don't think this movie will suck.  In fact, I expect it to be rather good.  Mr. Bale is an excellent actor, as well as the rest of the cast... Gary Oldman, Ken Watanabe, even Rutger Hauer!!! haven't seen that guy in ages.  I will be happy simply to see all these people in one movie, as well as to see a batman movie that isn't an insulting joke of the dark knight.

if ur implying that they should make them look like the comic.... thats stupid because anything short of friggin flashlights over his eyes is gonna look cheesy. P.S. this is batman perhaps the most emotional of heroes, and the eyes are the windows to the soul therefore dont cover them.

I think your right, batman does have alot of emotion. But it wasnt shown in Batman 3 or 4

Has anyone seen the new Bat car?

 RE: Batman2   > reply

Yes, there are pictures of it everywhere.

I saw a short video testing the car, its pretty fat. It was a bit dark though.

I like the new look of the Batmobile but I think they should have gone the whole nine yards and done the version from 'The Dark Knight Returns'

 RE: Batmobile   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on January 26, 2005 3:49 AM

Im not sure. Dont u think they should hav made it resemble the original Keaton car?

 RE: Batmobile   > reply

Hav u got any links to pics or footage from the new Superman movie?

 RE: batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on January 26, 2005 5:53 AM

this new series of films has absolutly no corolation to the other tim burton and shoe-maker movies.  it is a complete re-boot. the joker is introduced at the end of this film for starters, but i believe batman stays on his tail through the second film, to finally be confronted with him in the third. the joker already exists here, where as i'm sure you all remember jack nicholsons character before he fell into the acid at axis chemical.

they don't exist yet.. keep your pants on.

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on January 26, 2005 5:59 AM

when you think about it.. batman's emotion was'nt seen in any of the films, with a brief exception to the first. the closer we get to batman begins, the more excited i get to see a truer depiction of an awesome / menacing character. from batman returns, to that god-aweful batman & robin abortion, batman was depicted as a clown in a rubber suit. NOT NEARLY MENACING, OR for the laymans BADASS ENOUGH. BRING ON BATMAN BEGINS...  .....PLEASE

Who do u think wud win in a fight between SUPERMAN & BATMAN?

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on January 27, 2005 1:05 AM

Superman!

I think Keaton had a really dark side in the original, thats what the character needs.
Kilmer showed something, not sure what it was. Clooney just didnt have a clue.

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on January 27, 2005 2:58 AM

Batman would win if he had time to prepare.

 RE: Batman2   > reply

Prepare, how cud he?
He has no powers, he wud get smacked up.

i agree, those actors are able to show a duel personality.. clooney, i could see as a bruce wayne type, but not as batman---B

spiderman vs superman
who will win?

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on January 28, 2005 6:50 AM

All Batman needs is his Kyrpton power suit and he'd win easily.

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on January 29, 2005 12:12 PM

batman may be more tactical, but the mere thought of the brute strength and powers superman posesses every day on earth makes him far more likley to beat batman.. if one was to try to imagine that a character like superman could exsist  in real life. if we are refering to a COMIC  BOOK, all bets are off..besides..krypton power suit would never exist, because superman has never allowed himself to be subject to any sort of test that would tell us exactly how strong, or what other weakness he may have. he's only told us that he is from krypton. the fact that kryptonite ever came up is damn near insulting. this is coming from a batman fan by the way---B

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on January 30, 2005 6:43 AM

Batman has some kind of power suit in The Dark Knight Returns doesn't he? Anyway, Superman was meant to have given Batman some Kryptonite once, he'd just use that on him.

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on January 31, 2005 1:13 PM

well, i'm trying to keep this debate based in some kind of reality. like i said earlier..if were talking about comics, then all bets are off., but because this post regards the batman film adaption, i was  talking about trying to keep things as realistic as possible. no one on the planet has any kind of technology that could rival the power of superman. remember, krypton was said to be millions of light years , and thousands of galaxys away. we dont have a clue about krypton, other than what superman would ever share with us... not even batman, or bruce wayne for that matter--- B

 RE: Batman2   > reply

The Dark Knight Returns, now THAT would make one Hell of a batman movie.

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on February 1, 2005 10:12 AM

i would love to see frank miller get involved with a film adaption at anypoint along the way. he has always had a great feel for batman, and would really come across well on the big screen---B

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on February 2, 2005 2:25 AM

The truth is yes Superman would win. But the fact that Superman is so strong has nothing to do with it, he is very different from Batman. Batman always ends up killing the bad people. Whereas Superman just can't its not what he stands for. Because of that, Superman will always be around.

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on February 2, 2005 4:00 AM

And Batman won't?

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on February 2, 2005 12:31 PM

do you even know what your saying? batman doesnt kill., his whole purpose is to preserve. he and superman are the same in that respect. batman vs. superman is as simple as how if superman were to fight any human, he would crush him in a sec.---B

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on February 3, 2005 1:56 AM

Yes I do mate. The fact is Superman cant kill, he wont. Batman can. Hes all about revenge, and no he wont be around forever he will get old and die.

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on February 3, 2005 3:28 AM

I suppose the obvious answar would be that Superman would crush Batman in a second but Batman's meant to be pretty smart, I'm sure he'd come up with some way to beat Superman.

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on February 3, 2005 7:20 AM

superman was born... he was sent to earth,by parents who knew earth was the closest to thier krypton atmosphere, he went to school, . he got older... moved to metropolis, and got a job at a newspaper...he aged just like all of us. how do you imagine, that he'll just stop getting older at a particular point in his life, to live forever??.?. i agree batman is about revenge..but that doesnt make him a killer. if you know hes about revenge, you should understand that its directed to preseve, and restore order to gotham city, while trying to ease the pain of his parents murder. his father was grandfather and father with wayne enteprises were responsible for building most of gotham. its gothams decrepid state that drives bruce away to where he eventually becomes batman.preservation my dear boy, and revenge on those who ruined it all.---B

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on February 3, 2005 7:28 AM

its more than just an obvious answer... supes is faster han a speeding bullet, stronger than a locomotive.. im sure you all know how that goes. batman is a guy who trained with ninjas for about 9 years, who is also, yes very smart, and tactical., yet even if hes got time to overload his utility belt, he is still a human being., try to imagine how boring superman would be, if all he did was go toe to toe with humans., and i dont mean lex luther either. but come to think of it, hes always come out on top with lex anyway.. so i guess thats enough said.---B

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on February 4, 2005 5:14 AM

Batman could use more than just gadgets from his utility belt.

Its Luthor.

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on February 7, 2005 4:19 AM

After he has grown out of a boy and into a man. Hes aging process slows down. He wont get old like the people around him. Batman will, yes he does carry revenge but that wont be kept up once he dies.

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on February 7, 2005 2:02 PM

slows down? where did you come up with that one..?---B

 RE: Batman2   > reply
Posted by A random shemp (No Email) on February 8, 2005 4:22 AM

I dunno. After development he wont get old like other people. The people on Krypton had much longer lives than people like us. Thats why Super wont get old.
