Every 3.6 seconds someone dies of hunger; Three-Fourths of the deaths are children under five. Now what if there was a way to help end hunger from your computer? Well thanks to our friend Ellis at Geeknews.net I have found a way. This is how it works. You simply click on www.thehungersite.com once a day and click on the button ordering the donation of a free serving of rice, wheat, maize or other staple food to the hungry. The daily corporate sponsor agrees to pay for all the donations ordered. No money comes out of your pocket... The Hunger Site believes that if just a tiny fraction of Internet users take a few seconds each day to make a free donation, they can feed hundreds of thousands of people.
