 2003 Golden Globe Nominations!

The Nominations to the annual precursor to really big hollywood social event (see Academy Awards) were announced this week. Cold Mountain, the decent-looking but clulessly marketed Miramax Civil War epic came in first place, racking up eight nominations. Scarlett Johansson nailed down two nominations for her roles in Lost in Translation (also nominated for best comedy, best actor in a comedy, and best director) and Girl with a Pearl Earring. Jack Nicholson, Johnny Depp, Billy Bob Thorton, and JACK BLACK were nominated along side Bill Murray in the best actor in a comedy category.

Actually, it's not really fair to say that he's guilty. One of the things about American justice is that MJ is innocent until proven guilty. We can't pass judgement.
