So.... here's your chance to input your two-cents worth.

Which film was the best you ever saw and why?

Are we talking of US films only? Cause there's a lot of great movies around the world...

But of US, I would say Casablanca over Gone with the Wind, maybe because the romantic story is classic and perfect, but without the huge scenario. It's not needed, in this particular case, to show an excellent plot. The lines of Casablanca are more famous than the ones from other movies, I think.

Why dont you follow simple instructions and say WHY Citizen Kane is the best ever?? My vote goes for the Seven Samurai, starring Toshiro Mifune and directed by Akira Kurosawa.  What other film can boast adaptions to to completely different genres? (the Magnificent Seven-western and Seven Magnificent Gladiators)a truly stupendous history making film

Yes, the Seventh Samurai got my vote too. There is an artistic quality and feeling that has never been matched scince, (and probably never will be).

Every time the bottom of the barrel is hit and this question comes up to start a thread, you get the same bullsh*t answers..Casablanca...Gone with the Wind...Citizen Kane. We're all impressed that you read the AFI list but how about something original??

How about the best Sci-Fi movie or the best movie of the 80's or even the best DVD so far?

Best non-Hollywood movie: "Esperando la carroza" from my country.
Best Sci-fi movie: Stargate or Dark City.
Best 80's movie: there's too many, maybe you should ask by genre.
Best DVD: didn't rent that much, but I would Toy Story 2.

Funny is all of you idiots that doesn't know other kind of humour besides the "gay" thing. Get out or get into the closet, but keep it closed please. You're obssessed with homosexuality.

I just called it like I saw it.  Gay or not, is not really and insult unless you feel insulted.  Take that as you will.  But just remember, "He who doeth protest too much..."

Maybe Skullfire ought to turn those high powers of perception inwards for awhile instead of lambasting us with inane jokey jokes.

Keep telling your awful jokes Skullfire, these guys can't tell you what to do, besides, look how famous your terrible jokes have made you. Without Hater, 100%, Power Trip, and Axeman you are easily now the most famous poster along with your boy friend Moose.

Moose my boyfriend? Nope, but if you're jealous, find one for yourself.
And about people talking of me, well, I quote Bernard Shaw: "So they talk? Let them talk?"
