Cruising callers
By Power-trip on October 10, 2001 2:15 PM
During the US Telethon many of Hollywood's A-list celebrities answered the phones and spoke to people as they donated cash to the Setember 11th relief fund. One high profile actor looked paticularly more and more irritated as the night went on as this intrepid reporter noticed. And now it seems he had real reason to be extra ticked off.
Crowdsurfer.com reports that "apparently while manning the phones during the recent US Telethon, Tom Cruise was repeatedly asked by callers if he was really gay. He told them he was not. Obviously. Because he’s not. And never has been."
I wonder what kind of calls Jerry Lewis gets for his Labor Day telethon?

This is turning into a gossip site!
So Cruise is gay, so what!
Power Trip is gay, and no one here cares, Fred Hater dig boys, and we all know Dyan likes his ass hairy. But we here on the Dtheatre site only care about digital entertainment, not who Power Trip is blowing.

I didn't think it was possible to get a rise out of you, Tiny. And here I thought you were content to make lame a*s lists and "Bin Laden is King" jokes.
You want to be taken "seriously" now? Look at how tactfully you pegged the rest of the Dtheatre too. Pure low-acid genius. Go back to the sandbox with Red or use that all powerful insight on something less common next time.
"LOL?" Gimme a break.

Brother, if you can't take a joke, then stay out of Dtheatre. Here's another one that may not make you teary eyed.
I just got it from my favorite mag:
Tarzan and Tonto are riding through the plains.
Tonto stops abruptly, jumps off his horse, puts his ear to the ground, and states: "Buffalo come!"
The Lone Ranger says:
"How do you know that Tonto?"
Tonto replies: "Ear sticky"

Why would it matter if Tom Cruise were putting from the rough?
Here in the U.K., 99% of all men are gay, and it hasn't hurt us in the least! You should e-mail me SPIDER SHEMP, I'm at backdoorshananigans@hotmail.com, lets rock the Cazzz Bahhh

Cruise isn't gay, he's just handsome, and like Power Trip he likes to gargle male genitilia. That doesent make him gay now, does it?
I can imagine why Tom was getting so flustered, I bet he chipped a nail.

He can sleep with anyone he wants. Technically "bi" but gay regardless... Trivial, but we care.
I personally think this story is hella' funny.

Great, Penny, contribute to the problem. That's what we all need: yet another bitter and frustrated woman who is angry that her boyfriend dumped her pugly ass for a guy. Maybe Tiny and you could hook up and have some KKKids.

Tarantino lining up Asian action greats for film
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Director Quentin Tarantino said Monday that his next film, ``Kill Bill,'' about an organization of assassins, was likely to unite two action giants of Asian cinema, Hong Kong's Yuen Woo Ping and Japan's Sonny Chiba.
``It's not official and money hasn't changed any hands,'' Tarantino told Reuters, ``but Yuen Woo Ping will choreograph the Chinese kung fu action and Sonny Chiba will choreograph the samurai action.''
``Kill Bill'' is about a female assassin who tries to leave a group of professional killers. Her fellow hit men show up at her wedding and kill everyone in the church, leaving her and her unborn child for dead.
As it turns out, she takes a bullet in her brain that leaves her in a coma for five years. When she awakes, she is out for revenge and hops around the world killing gang members. She leaves the leader, Bill, for last.
``I've written this character for Uma (Thurman), and they (Yuen and Chiba) are going to put her through training, where she will have to learn the kung fu animal styles,'' Tarantino said. ``And I'll also have Yuen and Sonny play parts in it.''
Chiba is known in America for his 1970s ``Street Fighter'' karate films. Yuen raised his profile as fight director for ''The Matrix'' (1999) and ``Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'' (2000).
Having written the film over the past year, Tarantino describes ``Kill Bill'' as a ``duck press'' amalgamating his 35 years of watching kung fu flicks, samurai movies, spaghetti Westerns, 1960s spy thrillers and tough-as-nails-women revenge films.
Tarantino stormed into Hollywood with the gangland thriller ''Reservoir Dogs'' in 1992 and has since directed such films as ''Pulp Fiction'' (1994) and ``Jackie Brown'' (1997). REUTER

Chiba is world renouned for training his pee-nis in many of his movies where he is the star, he usualy uses his powered weapon to get women to tell him what he wants to know. Now that's entertainment, especially if you are SPIDER SHEMP (cause he digs cacks and all)

Geez, tiny. Trouble making the connection between the good the bad and the ugly. Guess not all of us think racially/sexually oriented and biased jokes are funny. But that's you're repetoire so do what you do because you do it so well.

Of course not, Tiny. This is all fun and games for us. Getting upset at anonymous electronic postings? Puhleeese, garglefriend!
I'm just astounded by your inability to be cynically witty. Some have it (eg: Fred) some don't (eg: you).
No harm, no fowl. Quack, quack.
