William H Macy on Jurassic Park 3
A lot of people believe that the next Jurassic Park movie is really pushing the series and shouldn't have been made but William H Macy is one who would beg to differ.
"It was about the most amazing thing I've ever done in this business," he told Zap2it.com. "It was the best of the best doing the best they've ever done. Wait till you see this stuff."
"Stan Winston's puppets," Macy continues. "In this room, you can't tell that they're not alive. They are so complicated now. They blink. [pointing to the artery in his neck] You know this little thing down here where your heart beats? They got that. They had a little bladder on there. When the thing's been running, it goes fast. When it's just standing there, it goes slower. They were alive."
"There's a scene where a raptor comes up and sniffs Tea Leoni from head to toe. And there's nine guys standing over there operating the thing, but you couldn't watch them. You could only watch this raptor because you had no idea what it was going to do."
Originally there were reports that Macy wasn't impressed by the script, that's changed. As to whether it will top the previous two films, Macy has faith that Jurassic Park III’s spinosaurus is the meanest beastie yet. "[it’s] the baddest ass in the jungle from this point on," said Macy. "T-Rex… forget it. Spinosaurus is the man."

There's a high quality version of the JP3 commercial that aired during "Survivor", even better though is the 30 second longer second trailer from which the commercial was cut.. Enjoy.

I think the Jurassic Park 3 film will be great. Since I know so much about it, I know it will be a big hit in the box office. I've already watched Jurassic Park 1 like 5 times and the second film over 10 times! But I think that this film will be the best of all. I love all of the cast and the director. This movie will be a blockbuster hit!

Well, let me end the major suspense you are having waiting on seeing Jurassic Park 3. To put it simply.."It was a complete waste of time!" I haven't been that mad coming out of a movie I just paid 8 bucks for since I saw "The Great White Hype." Jurassic Park 3 could not have possibly dissapointed me any more then it did. The script was for crap and I believe whoever had a hand in writing it should be drug into an alley and be beaten. The whole movie was predictable to every possible extent, and the plot was waaaayyy past pathedic. The movie sucked, don't anyone waste your money!!

It appears to me that you are the sort of person to complain about anything. It is unfortunate that you didn't like the movie, but what did you expect?
Dinosaurs are Dinosaurs !
Jurassic Park movies are Jurassic park movies.....and there is nothing more to it...I personally didn't think that it was the greatest piece of filmography that I have ever laid my eyes across.....but it was far from the worst.
and as for being annoyed over a measely 8 bucks....i mean seriously what is your problem ??...
I suppose it is natural to have people like you, that seem to think they have to complain about little thing they can.
My advise to you is to 1.)
not to get too hyped up over movies cause you will be let down.
2.)
Don't expect too much from sequels or triologies except if it is the STAR WARS TRIOLOGY. &
3.)
read the dictionary next time you are being critical on the internet!

it seems to me that the pair of you need to get some gawd damn lives! dont sit in front of the computer all your lives wanking and writing over movies you know are going to be crap any way.

While I agree with you that the story was horrible, I still feel I got my money's worth in dino-effects. I was so impressed with the spinosaurus and that whole scene in the pteranodon cage was unreal.

While I agree with you I don't really see antway of editing out Asswipes like these.
Forumns are kind of like a microphone attached to a P.A. out in public. Somebody is going to pick up the mike and be "funny".
There are always going to be the people who are pretty damn sure that what they say is not only wanted but also some of the most witty comments ever made.
I have found the best way to lose them is to ignore them. Like most 3 year old kids who demand attention if they don't get it then they go sit in a corner and murmer to themselves.
Getting pissed at these folks only eggs them on.

They have pulitzer prize winning books there, I read books to be exercise my mind, I go to this site for laughs and some interesting opinions on movies and actors.

Thats a very good point I have checked the books and the spinosaurus is not bigger than t rex but he was only a little shorter than the Big T so I suppose they worked with that makeing a new and uniqe looking giant preator I guess T rex is just getting old

I particularly did not take an interest in the "spinosaurus". I thought, indeed, that the T-rex should have been just as much a character in the movie as the spinosaurus was. How can you omit the T-rex when it is the very dinosaur that made the Jurassic Park movies ledgendary? Oh yeah, and why did some of the raptors have those weird flaps? I did not understand. In my opinion, it was an awesome movie. Better than JP2 but not as good as the first. :)

the action scenes ion the movie were great, but the storyline as awhole was quite poor, not that i was expecting much of it...the crests on the raptors were the male and female raptors

I don't know where you learned that cuz it is not true. T-rex was larger than the spinosaurus(not by much tho). T-rex is however, not the largest carnivore. there were two larger. the giganotosaurus and the recently discovered carcharodontosaurus. they were both around 42 feet long. Spinosaurus was 39 feet long and T-rex was just over 40. T-rex is still believed to be the heaviest of all.
