I was skeptical of this remake at first, but it looks like this might actually be pretty cool.  As long as the apes don't look cheesy like they did in the originals, things will be all good.

I'm looking forward to this one.

Tim Burton has mad skillz as long as he doesn't bastardize the orginal story to much it can't be a bad movie.

Had the old movie been re-released in the theaters it would have made more money cuz the new one looks like a remake of thriller.

I've been looking forward to this one for a long time. As a huge fan of the POTA series I was initially hoping for a closer knock off of the original movie that would include all the same characters (Cornelius & Zira, etc.) but with a Tim Burton twist. Tim Burton's version takes a completely new angle with new characters and a new story - only the basic plot is the same. It looks like it will be a great one.

The trailer looked cool, the film may have promise but come on...Marky Mark??? Their casting should have been a little smarter. I'm not a fan of dinosaurs but Whalberg in Charlton Hestons role? Please...this is probably just another bastardization of a classic film.

The monkey suits look as cheezy as ever. And what's this I read somewhere about Wahlberg screwing one of the apes? I mean come on! Although, I've seen "Boogie Nights" and with a schlong like that, an ape is probably the only thing he could screw.

Hmmm...maybe pretty good. Wahlberg is turning out to be a better than fair actor after all. I did not waste my time watching Boogie Nights but that's just me. Anyway, hope it turns out as entertaining as the trailer.

I think this movie will be a block buster.  And I have never seen such artistic work and make up.  The ape's look great and the sound effect are so cool!!
