Miss Croft’s big screen debut may still be some way off but anticipation is reaching fever pitch as the official Tomb Raider site hits the Net with the promise of actual stills from the set.
Featuring a bold and brash Tomb Raider logo complete with hieroglyphics and arcane runes, the site features an array of information to whet your appetite before the curvy archaeologist tries to topple Indiana Jones as cinema’s favourite relic hunter. A featured image of Lara’s mansion marks the first of a series of set pics that will find their way onto the site as production continues but aside from that the eye candy is a little scarce. Pictures of the cast are present in the form of small mugshots but with the notable exception of one Angelina Jolie; either they’re saving a glimpse for farther down the line, or someone didn’t consider a picture of the film’s main character a worthy addition to the site.
Not the most useful of sites but it bares potential.
