MGM has announced that Casino Royale is the title of the next Bond flick AND that lame action-film underachiever, Martin Campbell (Vertical Limit, Golden Eye, Lengend of Zorro) will direct.

Royale (the 1st Bond novel ever written) was made into a wacky film starring Peter Sellars in the late sixties.  There have been rumors circulating for awhile that spaz-face Quentin Tarrantino was eager to redo Royale and take on a Bond film.  We'll see if is fingerprints wind up on the script.
