CGI Remix Of SINGING IN THE RAIN and Other Odd Car Ads!

Ads can be evil, idiotic and mind-numbing, and sometimes they can be incredibly creative. Here's a case-in-point for the latter, an inventive CGI remix of Gene Kelly's dance in the rain. Also, for whatever reason, fake ads for VW and other cars have been popping up online and upsetting the common folk. NY TIMES Article On Aronofsky's FOUNTAIN!

The movie is a science-fiction epic that spans three historical periods and rides on a bit of time travel. It is directed by the Brooklyn-born Darren Aronofsky, who came to out of nowhere with the mathematics-themed thriller "Pi" and followed up with the addiction drama "Requiem for a Dream," both of which were produced with a lot of moxie and very little money and played to major critical acclaim.... SPONGEBOB, JASMIN ST. CLAIRE SEX SCANDAL

The New York Post is reporting on the latest "sex flap" regarding Spongebob Square Pants. It seems one of the cartoon's scribes has cast a former porn gang bang queen as his new lead (Jasmin St. Claire, recently from the indie comedy "Communication Breakdown").

LucasArts Admits STAR WARS TV Plans!

Talking to the website Nowplayingmag.com, LucasArts' Steve Sansweet, the Director of Content Management and Fan Relations (we think that means PR guy) mentioned that LucasArts is looking into all kinds of possibilities "to continue milking this same cow that has made all of us rich as fuck." He didn't say that. But he confirmed that the possibility for a TV show.

Michael Bay's THE ISLAND Has a Teaser UPDATED

Compare the footage in this trailer (The Island) to the footage in Spielberg's (War of the Worlds) below. Big difference (War looks awesome, Island looks like a car commercial or an episode of CSI). Conclusion: Michael Bay sucks. An international verision of the trailer has been added.
