Variety is reporting that Kelsey Grammar, Sideshow Bob himself (ok, Frazier Crane too) has been cast in the role as Beast for X3. Word has it, Maggie Grace (blonde on Lost) is in negoiations to play Kitty Pryde.

The networks are attempting to sell advertisers and TV critics alike on their fall season plans. All have high hopes and are somehow continuing to find bullshit, cliche stories about cops, doctors, and lawyers. Bastards. ABC may have another Lost on its hands in Invasion. Dig the new shows.

Yep. Dig the marketing technique. Watch the new show online, then tell your hip friends in the hallways and the locker rooms how totally f'n hot the show is and the WB will have another hit on its hand (and you'll have helped market the fucker). It's like the viral marketing (like the way they "leaked" the last Beck album), but legit. Supernatural is about two well-dressed, twenty-ish, doe-eyed white boys who hunt old or discarded X-files storylines, because dingo-killed-their-baby or something. Ok, we don't really know why. Early word, though, is that this show is soft.
