Vin Diesel Starring in HITMAN MOVIE!

If you're not a gamer or a Vin Diesel fan this ain't gonna do it for you, but for the legion of fans of Eidos and IO Interactive's "Hitman" blockbuster video game franchise and/or big Vinny, this is for you. Vin Diesel (XXX, Riddick and so forth) has signed with 20th Century Fox to star and executive produce a Hitman film.

New, Troubled X-MEN 3 Script Review!

Those tricky, geeky, emotional bastards over at Aintitcool.com has been sent a review of a draft (from a few weeks ago) of the X3 script. Moriarity, a decent reviewer and regular contributor to the site has written an open letter to the head of Fox concerning the limp reviews of the script and the horrible managment of the X-Men franchise. HALO Movie Deal Almost Complete!

In addition to prompting a bunch of people to go buy an Xbox, the first Halo also made a tremendous amount of money ($125 million on its day of release) making a big screen adaptation inevitable. Now, Universal, Fox and Microsoft are working out a deal to put screenwriter Alex Garland's (The Beach, 28 Days Later) script on film sometime this year. The deal will reportedly have Microsoft retaining rights to the script throughout filming (no changes unless they so ok).

Bunches of BATMAN BEGINS, BEWITCHED Film Clips!

The release of multiple clips from both Batman Begins and Bewitched remake mean the near end of the 4-5 month long ad campaigns for each film. Lets all let out a genuine sigh of relief, no more new trailers and TV spots. We're finished (probably not, but we're damn close) with these two films and I think we can all agree, Batman Begins looks damn good and Bewitched will most likely fall far short.

This November, Colin Ferrell's second attempt at a histproical epic Oscar possibility, The New World, opens. The film depicts the story of Pocahantas, dig the new trailer. Also, new trailers from Gus Van Sant's film about Cobain's Last Days has and Bill Murray's new Jim Jarmusch flick, Broken Flowers.

40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN, WEDDING CRASHERS Trailers!

Steve Carrell. He used to steal the old Daily Show from Craig Kilborn, he almost stole Anchorman's punch from Will Ferrell, and nows he starring in a flick about a 40 year old virgin. It was written by Judd Apatow (creator of Freaks and Geeks). Also here, the new Wedding Crashers trailers from the Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, Ben Stiller (cameo only) dumb funny guy clique.
