Sebastian, A spanish movie director, and Costa, his producer, have come to Bolivia in order to shoot a movie about Columbus and his exploitation of the New World. As they go about shooting their movie, little did they realize there was another scene being shot, a more realistic one. As the government of Colombia have allowed the national water works to be privatized, the price of water shot up to an unreasonable level, making people very angry.

Incidentally, one of the cast of their movie, Daniel, happened to be an activist involved in the protest against the high priced water.
