Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy has already conquered manga and anime, and in 2009, he's going to make the leap into the big screen.
The CG animated movie is directed by David Bowers and features the voices of Nicolas Cage, Kristen Bell, Nathan Lane, and Scarlett Johansson. It opens on October 23, 2009.
Growing up watching the animated series, I'm extremely excited about this movie adaptation. I'm totally hoping for Astro Boy to shoot bullets out of his behind. Here's the teaser trailer:
