Spielberg Says INDIANA JONES 4 His Next Pic
By Wind(up)bird on February 21, 2006 7:07 AM
Spielberg spoke to someone somewhere over the weekend and mentioned that Indy 4 was going to be his next flick. He said this while commenting on his "serious" films of the past few years (Catch Me If You Can? War of the Worlds?) and how he's ready for a some candy-like entertainment. We'll see. With Harrison Ford (Firewall?), Lucas (don't get us started), and now Spielberg (he's hit or miss these days) all on board, does this thing really sound like a total winner? Whose to say these chumps won't be blind-sided by they're own fame and careers? Click over for Spielberg's comments

The movies were great, i loved all 3 of them. But the truth is they waited too long. They should of did another couple of them while ford was still in his 30's. he's old as hell now!

I saw harrison ford on the daily show the other day, and I bet he could do indy 4 for great justice.
I mean, he's done more mountain helicopter rescues this decade than anyone I know personally.

I don't mind seeing a movie about an aged Indiana Jones, I'm sure they can make it work.

Hey ass magnet, Ford was in his thirties doing the original Star Wars.
Acting was something he fell into. He was already a succesful carpenter when his buddy Lucas asked him to do a cameo in his masters thesis, a little movie called American Graffiti.
He almost didn't do Star Wars because he was worried about fucking up his livelihood as a carpenter.

i think the 3rd episode was a great movie to end the Indiana Jones trilogy, since it also is one of the best movies for me, but if steve thinks he can top the 3rd one, i'd be impressed and very happy.

"He almost didn't do Star Wars because he was worried about fucking up his livelihood as a carpenter".
The same thing happened with Jesus.

Ahh but is the smarter..... the man who gave a carreer as a carpenter becauses he thinks he's the child of God. Cue to a few years later and every makjor sect, group or whathaveyou have come up with the only "true" god thereby setting into motiom unrest and flat out war amongt almost everey country on this little planet.
How many diseases are that kill innocents has God wrath? Whould a god who trully loved his children stand up in heaven while Europe was being oblitertated.
So enought right wing garbage. The half covered laughter relating Harrison Ford to some kind of diety is stupid.
I really want to believe this-
That if we could come up with a brainscrambler to interupt the droolings of fundementalists eventually casing severe pain then death (over the course of 5 years.
Besisdes, GOD is an excuse for humnans to committ the worst atrocities but yet still allow the pious to come up with a rationalization as to why "he" did it.
Religion is a lie, God is a lie. We only have ourselves to get through life on this muddpudle.
Maybe Ford just liked being a carpenter?
