 AN AMERICAN HAUNTING Full Trailer!

Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek star in the creepy period horror "An American Haunting," which is based on the true story of the only documented case in early US history when a spirit was supposedly responsible for someone's death. It turns out there were no Ghostbusters in 1818. Click over for the trailer!The only other worthwhile credit that the director has is "Dungeons & Dragons," which isn't the best sign. The trailer for "An American Haunting" looks like standard horror fare, but I'm glad to see that it doesn't hint at the whole thing being in someone's head, which is a trite plot point used by many horror films of late.
Horror films set in the distand past are scarier for some reason, so it does have that going for it. Check it out for yourself.
"An American Haunting" is due out January 1. Thanks to AICN for the heads up.
