 More ROCKY VI News! UPDATED!

Last week we told you that Sylvester Stallone was all set to direct and star in the sixth installment of the "Rocky" series, which he also wrote. Well, The Hollywood Reporter clued us in to some more details about the upcoming production, like the basic storyline and the tentative title. Come check it! UPDATE: Potential opponent for Balboa?!"Rocky Balboa" is the working title, which is what Stallone titled the script, according to the article. Nothing too exciting there.
As for plot, trite is right, apparently:
In the new installment, Rocky, lonely and retired in Philadelphia, comes out of retirement, intending to fight a few low-profile local fights. He's approached to fight a match with reigning heavyweight champ Mason "The Line" Dixon, and soon his comeback ignites a media firestorm.
Comes out of retirement? Why didn't we think of that?
UPDATE:
Variety reports that Roy Jones Jr. is in talks to co-star in the film as Rocky's opponent, Mason Dixon.
Meanwhile, BoxingTalk.net is reporting that light heavyweight champion Antonio Tarver is in talks to go head to head with Sly.
I hope whoever plays the part knows how to pull his punches.

COME ON GUYS WE ALL KNOW WHO THE NEXT OPPONENT IS GONNA BE THE PEOPLES CHAMP THE ROCK DWAYNE JOHNSON THINK ABOUT THE FIGHT.THEN THINK ABOUT ALL THE PLOT TWIST, THE FIGHT COULD GO LIKE THIS IN THE LAST ROUND TORWARDS THE FINAL BELL ROCKY GETTING BLASTED THEN ROCKY STARTS FLASHING BACK TO VARIOUS MEMORIES WORKING HIS WAY BACK TO THE SECOND FIGHT HE HAD WITH CREED, THEN IT HAPPENS. THE PUNCH HE THREW THAT KNOCK HIM AND CREED DOWN.AND WE WATCH THEM FALL FOR THE LAST TIME IN THE SERIES.ALL OF A SUDDEN ROCKY IS BACK TO THE FIGHT WITH DIXON SOMETHINGS IS NOT RIGHT.THE REF IS AT THE COUNT OF 3 THEN 4. BLIND ROCKY CANT SEE BUT HE KNOWS WHERE HE IS AT AND KNOWS WHAT HE HAS TO DO. ROCKY STRUGGLING TO GET UP STILL CANT SEE!STILL FIGHTING TO GET UP.THE REF IS AT NINE.THE DRAMA BUILDS THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN YOU HEAR THE REF YELL YOUR OUT !!! BUT WE ALL WATHED ROCKY GET ON HIS FEET AT THE LAST SEC.FOOLING ALL OF US MAKING US THINK ROCKY LOSES THE CAMERA PANS OUT WE ALL SEE THAT IN FACT BOTH. FIGHTERS HAD BEEN DOWN.HE DID IT AGAIN HE WON THE BELT AGAINST ALL ODDS, QUICKLY SOMEGRABS ROCKY BEFORE COLLAPSING SHORTLY AFTER THAT ROCKY DIES. IN THE NEXT SCENE.... YOU SEE ROCKY AND ADREIAN AT THE ZOO THE ONE HE TOOK HER TO IN ROCKY II . ..WE CAN ONLY SEE THERE BACKS WALKING INTO THE ZOO. THEN YOU HEAR ROCKY SAY .. YOU KNOW.I ALWAYS WANTED TO BRING TOU BACK HERE SO I COULD ASKS YOU IF YOU WOULDENT MIND MARRYING ME TO MUCH!!!! again movie fades everyones happy

rocky 6 will be a top film aswell as rocky 5 wich was the best out of them all up to now anyway the fight with tommy gun made it very exciting becoz he thought a street fight and still won. rocky 6 will be top anyway.

if you fink rocky 5 was gud u must be out off your mind????im 1 of the biggst fans but gotta say dat was the shittest one,come on what was stupid was dat rocky went back to his old cloths wen he had top designer cloths.so stupid ... but hpoefully rocky 6 will pick up from the film it looks good from the pics on da net but we will just ave to wait an see
