Topic: News SUPERMAN Casts Perry White Role and Others!!
By Wind(up)bird on January 13, 2005 5:38 AM

Director Bryan Singer seems to be bringing aboard people he's familiar on the new Superman. The Hollywood Reporter reports that James Marsden (X-Men's Cyclops) and Hugh Laurie (Lead on TV's House) have been added to the cast.

Marsden will play a love interest of Lois Lane's (Kate Bosworth) and Laurie will play Clark Kent's boss, Perry White.  Director Singer has worked with both actors before.  Obviously, Marsden was a main character in SInger's X-Men films and Singer is a producer of the Fox show, House (Laurie plays a quirky doctor).

James Marsden and Hugh Laurie were nice enough to pose together for this obviously legitimate, exclusive DT photo.

Hugh Laurie could not possibly put a foot wrong in his career. As a big fan of Blackadder, seeing Hugh Laurie for a whole hour each week is grand. Hugh Laurie began as the president of the Cambridge Footlights comedy troupe, with his later female spouse Emma Thompson as vice president. She later starred in Harry Poter and the Prisinor of Azkaban. She married Kenneth Branagh, who starred as Lockhart in Harry Poter and the Chamber of Secrets alongside John Cleese. John Cleese stars in the latest Bond films, and Rowan Atkinson was in Never Say Never Again. Plus Rowan Atkinson was in Blackadder with Hugh Laurie. Therefore it all links back to Hugh Laurie.

Someone obviously spends to much time learning about other peoples lifes and cares not of his own. There fore I suggest Joe R should be beaten to a bloody pulp.
