While promoting his upcoming "White Noise," actor Michael Keaton briefly mentioned that he would like to work with Tim Burton ("Big Fish") on a sequel to the 1988 Oscar-winning film "Beetlejuice."
"I think there's room to do it, cause there's nothing like it, and there never will be anything like it," Keaton told BigFanBoy.com.
As enthusiastic as Keaton is about the idea, Tim Burton is not biting: "He doesn't want to direct it," according to Keaton.
"The only way to do it is with Tim involved," he admitted. "So I talked to him and said 'Where do you have time in your life to produce it, and let's find a guy to direct it and write it.'"
In 1989 "Beetlejuice" won the Academy Award for best makeup.
