The Grudge took full advantage of the Halloween weekend and took in patrons' millions (try $22.4). Ray's first weekend out was strong as was Saw's.1. "The Grudge," $22.4 million.

2. "Ray," $20.1 million.

3. "Saw," $17.4 million.

4. "Shark Tale," $8 million.
 
5. "Shall We Dance?" $6.3 million.

6. "Friday Night Lights," $4.1 million.

7. "Ladder 49," $3.3 million.

8. "Team America: World Police," $3.1 million.

9. "Surviving Christmas," $2.6 million.

10. "Taxi," $2.15 million.

But I must admit, the ending was not so well, also, no one mentions this, but the actors weren't very good at acting either. The Grudge did make me jump in the theatre a few times, shocking the audience always helps a movie. And I did get pretty freaked out at some of those disgusting scenes.

So unoriginal and barely a plot.  I do get a kick out of telling people "dude you have to go see this movie, it's freakin awesome!" only to have them come back and be like "man, that movie sucked, wtf did you tell me to see it for"  LMAO
