Wes Anderson (Rushmore, Royal Tennenbaums) has signed on with Revolution Studios to director Ronald Dahl's, The Fantastic Mr. Fox. The film will use oldschool stop-motion animation.

Noah Baumbach (director: Kicking and Screaming, Mr. Jealousy, co-writer: the Life Aquatic) will co-write the script with Anderson.  Anderson may have gotten hooked on stop-motion while using it for scenes in the Life Aquatic.  The Life Aquatic opens this december.
