Mike Judge (TV's "Beavis and Butthead," TV's "King of the Hill," "Office Space") has a new film coming out--complete with a great cast, written and directed by Judge and co-written by Etan Cohen (series writer on "Beavis and Butthead," "King of the Hill")--all it's missing is a title. Though not due out for a year, come check out some behind-the-scenes photos.
Originally titled "3001," the now-nameless movie will tell the story of Joe Bowers, an average guy who is selected by the government as the test subject for an experiment. That experiment? To put him to sleep for 1000 years. When Bowers awakes, hilarity will undoubtedly ensue.
The film stars Luke Wilson ("The Royal Tenenbaums," "Old School") as Bowers. Other cast members include Maya Rudolph ("Saturday Night Live"), Dax Shepard (TV's "Punk'd," "Without a Paddle"), David Herman ("Office Space"), and Stephen Root ("Office Space," "O Brother Where Art Thou?").
The film is scheduled for an August 2005 release. These pictures courtesy ComingSoon.net.
