 Michael Bay Sucks On SUPERMAN...Updated!!

Uncapable, chop-shop editing, graduated-filter spinning-slow-motion-reaction-shot-whore director Michael Bay may be attached to Superman. Or, at least, one of Superman's newest producers, Neal Moritz (see also I Know What You Did...) wants Bay. What sad news for Supe fans.

A: While this issue is none of our business, I'll answer this question in Michael's own words: "You can probably hurt a lot of people by saying [who it is]." Michael Bay claimed in Moveline magazine that his bioligical father is director John Frankenheimer.
That'd be great except that the late Frankenheimer denied the claim, saying DNA tests have proven otherwise.
Maybe Frankenheimer had seen some of Bay's movies and feared association. Maybe he didn't share some of the cool $25 mil he made off of Pearl Harbor with old pappy.

Let's see... in Pearl Harbor he turned a couple of average guys into "Superman" during the attack- shooting down Japanese planes, donating blood, rescuing sailors... What will he exaggerate Superman into? God? This jackass knows nothing about filmmaking, must have been financed by his rich daddy.

My apologies for not mentioning how much more Michael Bay sucks for Armageddon- the sci-fi movie that is so ridiculous, you actually leave the theater more stupid than when you went in. It's as if it were written by a hand-selected group of high school dropouts with exceptionally low science scores. NOTHING about that film bears the least resemblence to ANYTHING that might actually be done in the event an asteroid were heading for Earth. I'm suprised the script didn't have Shaquille O Neal jumping out of the atmospere to slam dunk the asteroid into a black hole- and then see a series of McDonalds collecter cups showing pics.

He doesn't have a rich daddy, unless you entertain the possibility that John Frankenheimer might be his biological father as was rumoured awhile back. When he started out he was actully pretty poor, in his first movie, Bad Boys he even had to pay for one shot with part of his own paycheck. Still, people go to see his movies.
