Steve Martin to star in new PINK PANTHER

Steve Martin will play Inspector Clouseau in the new "Pink Panther" movie, due out next summer. ?MGM studio execs and ensemble cast have mortgage payments due.The new "Pink Panther" will be directed by Ivan Reitman ("Old School," millions of other hilarious movies) and Shawn Levy ("Cheaper by the Dozen," and hundreds of other pseudo-hilarious movies).

Martin's costars include Beyonce Knowles ("Destiny's Child"), Kevin Kline ("A Fish Called Wanda," "Wild, Wild West"), and French actor Jean Reno ("The Professional," "Mission: Impossible").

With such a powerhouse ensemble, this movie will have to be a real lemon to not win the box office brawl next summer. ?Yeah, it will have to suck pretty bad. ?I can't see any chance of that happening. ?Not at all.

Now I didn't write the last post but ..no I don't think it was a typo. Why sodaboy any way?
The Pink Panther some Classic films. I always found the funny bits few and far between but hallarious when they did crop up but then I haven't seen them in ages. Any ideas for a script?

Yes, I have an idea. Why not have Clouseau and Kato set off on a wacky adventure that spans the globe and Kato could get into cool Kung Fu fights every five minutes while Clouseau makes funny comments in the background. Jackie Chan could play Kato.

As much as I love and admire Steve Martin, I have thought of them remaking The Pink Panther for years and always thought Kevin Kline should play Inspector Clouseau. When he did a Fish named Wanda, he then showed he was Inspector Couseau !!

I'm very happy with my classic Pink panther movies, anything new WILL suck so hard you won't believe it. Peter Sellers can not (as in NOT!!) be replaced, by nobody
