No surprises here, Tom Cruise opens a films well.  He's still a solid bet even after all that crap he shovels about L. Ron Hubbard.  The Samuri flick brought home 24.4 million.

"Honey," the big booty dance flick about music videos came in at number two, earning 14 million(it only cost 18 to make, so that makes it a hit).  Myer's Crap in the Hat fell four spaces and dropped off quite a bit.
